Gardenia 2019

On February 21-23, 2019, another edition of one of the largest gardening fairs in Poland took place – Gardenia 2019.

Jelimex took part in this event, which gave us the opportunity to meet customers and producers, coming more and more often from different parts of the world to Gardenia

It is important to us, because the essence of our activity is cooperation between the most reliable companies, mainly from the territory of the European Union, and Polish gardeners. It is a nice observation that more and more Polish companies are also thinking about cooperation, mutual exchange of knowledge, and supplementing the services they provide.

Our stand was visited by many people who deal with glass compositions that are currently fashionable. Due to the possibility of using seedlings of green plants displayed at the stand for these compositions. We mainly talked about this with our clients.

We represented two Dutch companies, which we represent in Poland – KOLSTER BV (producer of plant material that is additives to floristic compositions, as well as plant material for landscaping gardens or other green spaces) and KONST BV (undisputed leader in the production of Alstroemeria for cut flowers and Zantedeschia).

We have found that reaching out directly to customers is an essential process in creating a solid brand. We have answered all your questions about plant breeding, the cultivation instructions for which cannot be found on the Internet. We have noticed a return of great interest in the cultivation of Alstroemeria in Poland, including the Inca potted series intended for the patio, which is more and more often bought by customers in garden centers.

We presented a wide range of exotic plants and ferns, and they were the most popular among young gardeners who start their businesses by creating green walls and gardens in the glass.

It was a pleasure to meet our clients who have trusted us for many years.

Gardenia has been arranged over several halls, which made it possible for many companies to present themselves and for visitors the comfort of visiting the exhibition space.

Apart from the fair exhibitions, it was possible to take part in numerous educational and entertainment events.
